vineyard organization
A model of organizational structure in which the company's mission is pictured as a vine and the various units of employees as 'clusters' of grapes. The major clusters will include a team of core management, a series of largely autonomous business units, staff units providing back-up services, and a range of project teams assembled for specific short-term purposes.
